This hemp 4th annual festival of hemp industry in Japan.
There are number of historical hemp usage and display their works,
demonstration, workshop and retails as well as music.
２日間とも快晴に恵まれました

昔はどんなふうに麻が使用されていたのか、いろいろ展示物から学ぶ事が出来ます
This demonstration for tatami making, Hemp string weaves tatami.
畳制作のデモンストレーションがありました、ヘンプ糸が使われております。
This Tatami call “ASABIKIOMOTE” They use the hemp twine middle of Tatami mat.
麻引表という畳を作っていました
There were work shop for making shrine rope by use industrial hemp in Tochigi Japan .It was beautiful experiense.
栃木県産の精麻を使用したしめ縄作りのワークショップもあり参加させていただきました。

ヘンプマヨネーズを使用したベジバーガー、ヘンプシードオイルはヘンプフーズ社のオイルを使用してくださり光栄でした。
Last year They had Hemp festival in Tochigi and This year were different place.
They try to organize different places because they want to introduce Hemp who don’t know about Hemp plant.
We have lots of history of hemp in Japan. We wish hemp is become more important plant for future in Japan.

昨年は栃木、今年は兵庫と違う場所で開催している麻フェスティバル
主催者の日本麻振興会の方々は 新しい場所で行なうことにより、麻に出逢う人たちが増えていけるのだと
